The Bible Says The Bible Is Alive
What the Bible says about the Bible is that it is
alive and powerful. Some people might interpret that as meaning that it
changes. They might say that “living” means it varies with the emotional flavor
of the day. What once was true may no longer be true.
At times folks fail to
recognize the life in the Word of God. I sometimes hear it said that a
particular preacher brings the scripture to life. Well, the preacher’s job is to
bring the scripture to light or into the line of sight. The Bible, according to the Bible, is alive … and
powerful … and sharper than a two-edged sword. That means that even after all
these millennia, the Word of God does not need to be brought to life. It is
alive ...
and able to chase you down.
